Individual Therapy
This is face to face in office session. During your initial session we will explore the nature of you issues which will help in assessing the dynamics and stressors that are affecting you. Most importantly is the creation of a therapeutic relationship that allows us to work together and develop a plan to best resolve your concerns.
Urinalysis Alcohol /Drug Testing and other testing
We provide random alcohol and drug test at our agency as walk's in or an assignment. This service have been utilized in parenting plans. Also as a family intervention to verify if a love one is drinking or using drugs. Please call to inquire.
Substance Abuse Evaluation (Non DOT)
Substance abuse assessments take approximately two hours to complete and are typically performed in an office setting. This evaluation is conducted in order to determine the seriousness of substance abuse issues and to generate treatment recommendations. The evaluation consists of clinical interviews, a drug test and the use of valid and reliable testing instruments. Substance abuse evaluations are administered to adults . We provide DUI assessments, court order assessments, deferred prosecution assessments, and substance abuse assessments. We are a DBHR state approved agency
Anger-Aggression Assessment
Is an evidence based self-report assessment that focuses on anger-aggression and violence. This is an risk assessment that is designed for clinical and criminal justice (offenders). Group Therapy
Group therapy can support members in times of pain and trouble. A group’s therapeutic goals can enrich members with insight and guidance. Group therapy and addiction treatment are natural allies. The effectiveness of group therapy in substance abuse treatment can be attributed to several factors associated with addiction such as depression, anxiety, and denial. The natural thing about human beings when coming together forms some type of group. The breadth of group therapy is that it can change lives and is a powerful therapeutic tool.

DUI-Assessments
DUI Assessments are court ordered assessments or evaluation. If you have been charged with a DUI/DWI you are more than likely required to get this type of evaluation. All evaluations are provided by a Washington State Certified Chemical dependency professional. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine if the client has a Alcohol and/or drug problem that warrants treatment. Diagnosis and recommendations are based on the criteria of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
We follow the SAMHSA Anger Management format that consist of 12 week Cognitive Behavioral sessions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Treatment have been found to be effective for anger problems.
Department of Transportation Qualified SAP Evaluations (SAP)
A “SAP” is a Substance Abuse Professional who evaluates employees who fail a DOT alcohol and/or drug test. Our SAP will play a significant role in helping you return-to-work by providing an initial SAP Evaluation and a follow up SAP Evaluation. F.H. Counseling & Associates PLLC Substance Abuse Professional have specific qualifications and training to perform SAP Evaluations. Many Chemical Dependency professionals in Washington State are unfamiliar with a SAP evaluation.
Evaluations performed by non-qualified SAP will not be accepted by DOT and will delay your return to work. Fines may be imposed on any employer who uses a non-qualified SAP in the return-to-duty process.
Domestic Violence Assessment (DV)
DV assessments assess attitudes and behaviors The DV assessment is used in courts, probation departments, community corrections, clinics, treatment programs, etc. This assessment is appropriate for both misdemeanor and felony cases. The DV assessement evaluates violence (lethality) potential, assesses control issues, quantifies substance (alcohol and other drugs) abuse and measures stress handling abilities.
